NCR Voyix will begin upgrading the SQL databases for Insight, Loyalty, and Stored Value. Microsoft has announced the end of life for SQL Server 2016 on July 14, 2026, meaning no further security updates or patches will be provided for this version of SQL after that date. To mitigate security and compliance risks, NCR Voyix will migrate NCR Voyix-hosted Aloha Insight databases to a more recent version of SQL Server during the maintenance window over the coming weeks.
For non-replicated customers, this process will begin on September 11th at 01:00 EDT and continue every Monday through Thursday morning until completed.
If your data is replicated with NCR Voyix, your databases will be upgraded beginning October 10th, ensuring the criteria are met to continue replication. You will receive a separate email notification should this affect you from AEsupport.hsr@ncrvoyix.com.
